Bio
Jolanda Moyle is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist. Her music blends elements of electronic, folk, world and experimental influences into songs that are poetic, painterly and arresting.
Amongst other instruments, she plays open-tuning finger-style guitar and the Sarangi. The Sarangi is a traditional Indian Classical bowed string instrument with sympathetic strings and an ethereal sound. Jolanda came across the instrument while travelling in India in her early twenties. Though fond of Indian practice, she prefers a more experimental approach and explores unconventional techniques creating her own sound palette that is built up in layers on a loop pedal.
